GRAND JUNCTION PROCESSING SITE COMPLETION REPORT
Dear Mr. Sena:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has completed its review of the Completion Report for the Grand Junction Processing Site, dated January 1995, and supplemented by information transmitted to NRC by letters of February 15 and July 18, 1996, and _ additional information transmitted on September 17 and November 12, 1996. The staff's review is documented in the enclosed Completion Review Report (CRR), which discusses its evaluation of the U.S.
Department of Energy's (DOE's) completion of the remedial action at the Grand Junction Processing site in accordance with the requirements of the Remedial Action Plan, dated September 1991, and the Remedial Action Inspection Plan, Revision C, dated April 1991.
Based on its review, the staff considers all open issues to be resolved and concurs in the completion of the remedial action at the Grand Junction Processing Site.
