KGATIVE DECLARATION REGARDI!iG RENEWAL OF LICENSE fl0. SNM-1227 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) is co.midering the renewal of Special Nuclear Paterial License SiM-1227 for tne continued operation oi Exxon Nuclear Company, Inc., at Richland, Washington.
The Cot, mission's Division of Fuel Cycle and ?!aterial Safety has prepared an environmental impact appraisal for the prpposed renewal of License SUM-1227. On the basis of this appraisal, the Comission has concluded that the environmental impact created by the proposed license renewal action would oot be significant and does not warrant the preparation of an environmental impact statement, and, accordingly, it has been determined that a negative declaration is appropriate. The environmental impact appraisal is available for public inspection at the Comission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. A copy may be obtained upon request addressed to the U.S. Nuclear Reguistory Commission, Washington, D.C. 20555, Attention: Director, Division of Fuel Cycle and Material Safety.
