SUMMARY
OF MAY 7, 2020, PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING WITH SARGENT & LUNDY, LLC REGARDING QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19 On May 7, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a Category 2 public meeting with representatives from Sargent & Lundy, LLC (S&L). The purpose of the meeting was for S&L and the NRC staff to discuss changes to S&L Quality Assurance Program in response to the challenges associated with performing supplier audits due to COVID-19. The meeting was noticed on May 5, 2020, and is available at the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20126G318.
During the meeting, the NRC staff and S&L representatives discussed the summary of Proposed Changes, Review Schedule, and Future Submission of S&L Quality Assurance Program Topical Report. During the recap and the opportunity for public comments at the end of the meeting, there were no questions or comments from members of the public.
