SUBJECT:

DRAFT REGULATORY GUIDE AND VALUE/ IMPACT STATEMENT TASK CE 304-4, DECEMBER 1985 1

The subject draft needs a chapter on nuclear criticality safety, probably just before or after Chapter 2, for certain Part 70 licensees.

Babcock and Wilcox Compamy, Apollo, Pennsylvania, found 121 kg of U-235 during decommissioning. This represents many mimimum critical masses and warrants consideration during decommissioning.
