N Construction is currently underway around the north end of the AEBG/SCO building at the General Electric Company facility in Wilmington to accommodate an increase in building space for the Aircraft Engine Business Group.
(See attached sketch.)
As a result of this construction, the main.raffic entrance to the Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing Department has bee. 5.oved from the north to the south roadway.
Services previously available at the North Gate (NRC inspector badges, etc.) will now be available through the main lobby or the temporary South Gate, and ultimately, at the new South Gate which is presently under construction.
During this transition period, procedures will also change slightly but should not result in an adverse impact on NPC =o-ass.
Once the transition is complete, the NRC will be updated regarding any new access routines.
