Dear Mr. Lail:
This is in partial response to your letter dated December 6,1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act,1) a copy of the response to the November 18, 1985, letter from Representative John Dingell to NRC Chairman Nunzio Palladino, and 2) copies of letters dated between October 30, 1985, and December 6, 1985, from the NRC to the Tennessee Valley Authority.
The response to the November 18, 1985, letter from Rep. Dingell to Chairman Palladino is identified on enclosed Appendix A, and is already available for public inspection and copying in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555. We have indicated the file location beside the document description. There is no charge for inspecting records maintained at the PDR. We are enclosing a copy of a notice that provides charges and procedures for obtaining copies of records from the PDR.
The search for and review of records subject to your request have not been completed. As soon as the search and review are completed, we will notify you.
