In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 By the March 26, 1985 letter to E. Adensam from R. H. Shell, we transmitted a general status of TVA's efforts to establish environmental qualification in accordance with 10 CFR 50.49 and an update to the summary status report of TVA's compliance with 10 CFR 50.49, Environmental Qualification of Electrical Equipment Important to Safety for Nuclear Power Plants. As committed to in the November 15, 1985 letter to E. Adensam from R. H. Shell, enclosed is a revised sununary status which provides our methodology for establishing the 10 CFR 50.49 equipment list, a brief description of our improved environmental qualification (EQ) program for identifying and maintaining EQ equipment, the resolution of the NRC Technical Evaluation Report (TER) findings, an updated 10 CFR 50.49 equipment list, as well as additions and deletions from the March 26, 1985 submittal. As-discussed with members of your staff, we will be providing a revision to this report upon resolution of the remaining technical issues.
