DOE BRIEFING ON ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE DISPOSAL OF WEST VALLEY PROJECT LOW-LEVEL WASTE' On December 12, 1985 the Departmes.t of Energy provided the subject briefing to NRC staff at its Silver Spring, Maryland office. The agenda for the meeting and list of attendees are attached. The Department is preparing the subject assessment as part of the demonstration project being undertaken at West Valley to solidify the high-level wastes presently stored at the site for disposal in a federal repository.
