APPLICANTS' MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME WITIIIN NHICH TO RESPOND TO OCRE MOTION TO REOPEN THE RECORD AND TO SUBMIT NEW CONTENTIONS Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 5 2.711, Applicants respectfully re-quest an extension of the applicable time limit for responding to Ohio Citisens for Responsible Energy's Motion To Reopen the Record and To Submit New Contentions, dated December 12, 1985.
Applicants request that the time limit for their response be extended from Friday, December 27, 1985, to Monday, December 30, 1985.
OCRE's motion was served on December 12, 1985, but was not received by counsel for Applicants until December 16, 1985.
In addition, Applicants' time for response coincides with the Christmas holiday season, during which time a number of key esy22gO g $ [o$ O p

individuals will be unavailable.
The short extension requested would provide some accommodation to scheduling difficulties presented by the timing of OCRE's motion.
The undersigned has 4
contacted Susan Hiatt of OCRE, and Colleen Woodhead of the NRC Staff, and both have indicated that they have no objection to the requested extension of time.
For these reasons, Applicants believe there is good cause for the short extension requested, and respectfully request the Appeal Board to grant the instant motion.
