Dear Mr. Douple:

This is in further response to your letter dated April 10, 1985, in which you requested,' pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), access to records on the effects on any dairy products or any dairy animals within a twenty-five mile radius of the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant as a result of the March 28, 1979 accident. You requested that we include any testing that has been done since the accident including all results and recommendations made.

Our continued search has not located any additional documents subject to your request. However, the staff infoms us that three publications contain infonnation' related to your request. These publications are described on the -

enclosed Appendix A, and copies are available for public inspection and copying in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR), 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. We are enclosing a copy of a notice that provides charges and procedures for obtaining copies of records from the PDR.

hE() 1 Under provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. 5 U.S.c. 5552 I am requesting access to any information you have on the effects on any dairy products or any dairy animals within a twenty-five mile radius of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant as a result of the 1980 accident. This information should include any testing that has been done since the accident including all results and recomend-ationsmade.

If there are any fees and the cost is greater than ten dollars, please inform me before you fill my request.

If all or any part of this request is denied please cite the specific exemption which you feel justifies refusal of releasing the information and inform me of the appeals procedures available to me under the law.

I would appreciate your handling of this request as soon as possible and I look forward to hearing from you within ten days as the law stipulates.
