Enclosed please find a computer tape containing the available digital seismograms recorded at Mammoth Lakes, California, a study of seismic ground motion propagation at shallow depths. Also enclosed are a description of the data on the tape and some instructions on decoding or transcribing the tape.

Eight caps of the Anza, California, area are provided as requested during our visit to that area for selecting a site for a second potential experiment.
