Dear Mr. Martin:
In response to the request contained in NRC Region V letter dated September 30, 1985 signed by Mr. F. A. Wenslawski, PGandE has enclosed the requested supplemental information on dose assessment.
Dose assessment information is required by the Diablo Canyon Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications to be submitted for each calendar year as part of the report submitted within 60 days after January 1 of each year.
The requested information is provided in the format of Part Three to the Diablo Canyon Unit 1 Semiannual Radioactive Effluent Release Report and covers the period of January 1,1985 through June 30,1985 (Enclosure 1).
This is being submitted as requested in advance of the due date of March 2,1986 and is in addition to the required dose assessment information to be submitted for calendar year 1985.
PGandE is also submitting minor revisions'to Tables 1 and 2 (Enclosure 2) of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant Semiannual Radioactive Effluent Release Report submitted August 29, 1985. These revisions increase the reported value of particulate radioactivity in gaseous releases by 7 percent to account for calculated sample line losses.
