PROPOSED IMPOSITION OF CIVIL PENALTY - $1.100 This is to inform the Commission that a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty in the amount of $1.100 will be issued on or about January 2. 1997, to Robco Production Logging. Inc. The action is based on a i
Severity Level III violation involving use of l'icensed material by a Texas licensee in NRC jurisdiction without filing NRC Form 241.
In accordance with the Enforcement Policy, a base civil penalty in the amount of $2.500 is considered for a Severity Level III violation.
The staff considered whether the licensee should be given credit for its corrective actions and applied that credit but exercised discretion under Section VII.A.1 of the Enforcement Policy and is assessing a civil penalty of $1.100 to emphasize the importance of precluding further violations.
It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the i
enforcement action.
