As one of the parties to the completed proceedings in the matter of Union Electric Company's application for an operating license for the Callaway Plant, Unit No.1, you have been receiving copies of correspondence to the licensee originated by the Division of Licensing during our review of the application and subsequent licensing and operating of the facility.
In accordance with the Nuclear Regulatory Coninission's (NRC) regulations, doccments filed by the licensee and correspondence from us regarding the operation of the facility will continue to be made available in the NRC and local public document rooms.
In addition, NRC field offi:.es or head-quarters will issue public announcements should any signif% ant events occur with respect to the facility.
Since the proceedings to which you were an intervening party have been com-pleted and an operating license issued for the Ceilaway facility and in light of the availability of documents.in the public records, we will dis-continue sending you copies of our correspor.dence to the Union Electric Company.
