Zion Station Units I and 2 Submittal of Requested Documentation Operating Licenses DPR-39 and DPR-48 NRC Docket Nos. 50-295 and 50-304 This letter transmits documentation related to containment paint issues recently identified at Zion Station. This documentation was requested by members of the NRC staffin a teleconference with Commonwealth Edison (Comed) personnel, conducted en Janualy 7,1997. The requested documentation is provided in the following attachments to this letter:
Attachment A consists ofZion Station Calculation No: 22S-B-040M-002, Revision 1,
" Containment Sump Zone ofinfluence for Coatings" Attachment B consists ofZion Station Calculation No. 22S-B-008M-092, Revision 2, "RHR Pump Available NPSH During the Post-LOCA Recirculation Phase" Attachment C consists of Report M-00282-97," System Materials Analysis Department Report on the Evaluation of Level I Coatings in Zion Station Unit 2 Containment," dated January 22,1997 Please note that these documents are being used as sources ofinformation in Comed's overall determination of appropriate actions for Unit 2 restart.
