Dear Mr. MacDonald:

In response to my telephone conversation with Mr. William of your staff on 21 November 1985, I submit the following information concerning our renewal application for USNRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9007 issued for the Model AI 520 Type B(U) package.

The first point requiring clarification is the dimensions of the "s" tube given in drawing AI52090 sheets 2 and 4.

The dimensions of 0.465 inches OD and 0.430 inches ID are correct.

The dimensions of 0.438 inches OD and 0.375 inches ID were used prior to 21 September 1983.

At this time Automation Industries, Inc. made a revision to change the "s" tube dimensions to 0.%65 inches OD and 0.430 inches ID which we have incorporated into our drawings.

I have enclosed eight copies of Automation Industries' drawing 100-520-014, which show this revision made by Automation Industries on 21 September 1983.

The second point concerns drawing AI52091 which did not indicate the gross weight of the package.

Enclosed please find eight copies of the revised drawing which indicates the gross weight of the package.
