50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DpR-77 and DPR-79, to change the technical specifications of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2.
The proposed changes are provided in enclosure 1.
The justification for the proposed technical specification changes is provided in enclosure 2.
Change No. 1 - This proposed change would raise the spent fuel pool radiation monitor setpoint to reduce spurious ESF actuations.
Change No. 2 - This proposed change would modify the positive and negative neutron flux rate reactor trip setpoints.
Enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee required by 10 CFR 170.12.
This requested amendment has been evaluated pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 and no significant hazards considerations are involved.
