- An NRC inspection was conducted April 7-11,1997, at your TRIGA Mark-ll reactor facility.
l' The enclosed report presen a the scope and results of that inspection.
l
,
! In general, your reactor program was implemented safely and properly. Exceptions
reviewed during the inspection were three violations of Technical Specifications involving a
missed semi-annual verification of shim rod and regulation rod drop times, a failure to
i monitor reactor pool surface radiation during reactor operation, and a case where positive
l control of the reactor key by a licensed operator was not maintained. These violations
were, however, identified by you and appropriate corrective actions taken.
l
