1 This letter acknowledges receipt of Mr. Brendan Ryan's letter dated May 27,1999, which ,
enclosed a revision to the Kansas State University TRIGA MK ll Nuclear Reactor Emergency Plan dated March 1999, submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(q).
Based on the determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan, and that it continues to meet the requirements of Appondix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not required.
Our initial review of these changes indicates them to be in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q),
- Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they did not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.-
