Closure Head Penetrations," requests licensees to provide a written report regarding inspection activities of Control Rod Drive Mechanism nozzles and other Vessel Head Penetrations, and a description of any l
l resin bead intrusions that have exceeded EPRI PWR Primary Water Chemistry Guideline l
recommendations for primary water sulfate levels. GL 97-01.also requests that within 30 days of the l
l date of the GL, licensees inform the NRC of their intentions regarding the submittal of the requested j
information. Accordingly, North Atlantic Energy Service Corporation (North Atlantic) plans to submit l
the information requested in GL 97-01 by July 31,1997.
