Ladies and Gentlemen:
By letter dated January 6,1997, Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submitted a follow-up response to NRC issued Bulletin 96-01, in this letter, summary data of rod drag testing performed during the Unit 21Ith Refueling Outage was included. In subsequent conversations with the NRC,it was requested that SNC provide the test data for the individual rods. Provided in the Attaciunent is the requested data for Farley Nuclear Plant (FNP) Unit 2. Should you have any questions, please advise.
