DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 30-Day Response to Generic Letter 97-01 Degradation of Control Rod Drive Mechanism Nozzle and Other Vessel Closure Head Penetrations Generic Letter 97-01 was issued to obtain, from licensees, plant specific information to describe their program for ensuring the timely inspection of PWR control rod drive mechanisms (CRDMs) and other vessel closure head penetrations.
The Generic Letter requested the following:
Within 30 days of the date of this generic letter, each addressee is required to submit a written response indicating: (1) whether or not the requested information will be submitted and (2) whether or not the requested information will be submitted within the requested time period.
Our responses are:
(1)
Prairie Island will submit responses to items 1 and 2 of the requested infonnation section of the Generic Letter.
(2)
Prairie Island will submit responses to the requested information section of the Genedc Letter within the requested 120 days.
