Please send me copies of all correspondence, memoranda, reports, studies and other documents that comprise all Office of Inspector &
Auditor reviews of the Grand Gulf 1 nuclear plant, located near Port Gibson, Miss., and owned by Mississippi Power & Light Co. and other Middle South Utilities Inc. subsidiaries.
The Freedom of Information Act provides that if portions of a document are exempt from release, the remainder must be segregated and disclosed. Therefore, I will expect you to send me all nonexempt portions of the records which I'have requested, and ask that you justify any deletions by reference to specific examples of the Freedom of Information Act. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any materials.
I promise to pay reasonable search and duplication fees in connection with this request. Ilowever, I am a journalist employed by The Times-Picayune /The States-Item and intend to use the information as the basis for newspaper articles.
