Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM02980), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched uranium to Japan for use as fuel supply in Japan Materials Testing Reactorf (JMTR). Assurances from Japan are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
