APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION GPU Nuclear Corporation Docket No. 50-289 Three Mile Island, Unit 1 License No. OPR-50 As a result of the inspection conducted on August 2 - September 16, 1985, and in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR 2, Appendix C published by Federal Register Notice 49 FR 8583, dated March 8, 1984), the following violation was identified:

This notice is sent in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, which requires normally, within 20 days of receipt of this notice, a written statement of explanation. However, this violation was acknowledged and immediately corrected upon inspector identification, and adequate measures to prevent recurrence were taken prior to completion of the inspection.
