Dear Dr. Williams:
The NRC Staff has reviewed Williams and Associates' August monthly progress report dated September 9, 1985 (Communication #60).
This report describes the status of Williams and Associates' technical assistance to the NRC staff under Contract NRC-02-83-033 (FIN B7389).
Subtasks 1.1, 2.1, 3.1 NRC staff has found satisfactory your list of newly acquired reference documents submitted with your August monthly progress report (Communication #
- 60) and the GSA abstracts related to Gulf Coast Seoiments (Communication #59).
August Data Meeting As requested in my July 18, 1985 letter, Williams and Associates attended the TBEG-D0E/NRC Geology Data Review Meeting, August 5-8, 1985, at the Texas Bureau of Economic Geology, Austin, Texas.
Dr. Sharp of Williams and Associates also attended the meeting as per additional direction from the NRC Project officer during our August 4 telephone conversation. The trip report dated August 12, 1985 (Communication #58) was received and found satisfactory.
Contractual The action taken by this letter is considered to be within the scope of the current contract NRC-02-82-033.
No changes to cost or delivery of contracted services and products is authorized.
