3 It has come to our attention that Mr. Paul Blanch resigned from Northeast Utilities effective at k
the end of the work day on Wednesday, February 10,1993, and that an agreement was entered into between Northeast Utilities and Mr. Blanch.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Region I, hereby requests a copy of the agreement between Northeast Utilities and Mr. Blanch. We are requesting the agreement to ensure that it does not contain restrictive language which would preclude Mr. Blanch from raising nuclear safety concerns. You may send the agreement to me by Overnight Express Mail at the above address or you may fax it to me at (215) 337-5241. If you believe that any portion of the agreement contains proprietary, personal privacy, medical, or other type information that should be protected from public disclosure, please note the portions of the document that should be protected. Also, provide an affidavit that describes the information and the applicable exemptions for withholding the information under 10 C.F.R. 2.790.
