In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.64, " Limitations on the Use of Highly Enriched Uranium in Domestic Non-Power Reactors," I am hereby informing you that the Department of Energy will be unable to fund a conversion of the Texas A&M University Nuclear Science Center Reactor to low enrichment uranium fuel in Fiscal Year 1997.
