50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SON)- INVESTIGATION REPORT OF THE SON UNIT 1 PRESSURIZER LEVEL REDUCTION in accordance with a verbal request from NRC, enclosed is a copy of the subject report describing the Unit 1 pressurizer reduction which occurred on March 23,1997, during the cycle 8 refueling outage. This report constitutes the investigation section of the Sequoyah Problem Evaluation Report used to document problem description and resolution in accordance with our corrective action program. No commitments are made or implied in this submittal, and corrective actions indicated within the report may be changed if conditions warrant.
TVA believes a meeting with the staff to fully discuss this report is desirable. We will pursue such a meeting with our Project Manager.
