Dear Mr. Kimling:
This is in response to your letter dated November 8,1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of the successful proposal submitted in response to Solicitation RFP No. RS-0RM-85-334 entitled "On Call Maintenance for NRC Microcomputers and Related Equipment."
The Solicitation RFP was issued as a sealed bid, for which a technical proposal was not required; therefore, the NRC has no document subject to your request.
For your information, J. C. Services was awarded contrar ? NRC-33-86-288 in the amount of $34,000. A copy of this contract is available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) filed under the contract number.
l Enclosed is a copy of a notice which explains the procedures and charges for obtaining records from the PDR.
