Gentlemen:
In response to Reference (a), the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company submitted Reference (b) which addressed items 3.1.3 and 3.2.3 regarding post-maintenance testing. As a result of the telephone conversation held on January 28, 1986, with Messrs. Dave Jaffe and Don Lasher of your staff, we realized that we misinterpreted the intent of items 3.1.3 and i
3.2.3 of Reference (a). Subsequently, we agreed to review existing Technical Specifications and identify, if applicable, any post-maintenance test requirements which can be demonstrated to degrade rather than enhance safety.
We have completed our review of existing Technical Specifications and identified those that require post-maintenance testing (see Attachment). None of the identified testing require-ments, that have not already been addressed in previous license amendment submittals, have been perceived to degrade rather than enhance sarety. Therefore, we consider no further action to be necessary regarding these items of Generic Letter 83-28.
