SERVICE WATER SPRAY WATER PUMPS HOPE CREEK-GENERATING STATION DOCr.ET NO. 50-354 Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) Company requests permission to procure a replacement Service Water Spray Water Pump without an "N" stamp.
This pump was originally procured from Hayward Tyler with an "N" stamp.
The replace-ment pump would also be procured from Hayward Tyler but without an "N" stamp as their "N" stamp was revoked due to their recent relocation.
They are scheduled to be resurveyed in February 1986 and their "N" stamp reinstated.
This pump would be procured to meet all the ASME Section III requirements, including all appropriate quality assurance requirements, with the exception of the "N" stamp.
The quality assurance requirements will comply with 10 CPR Part 50, Appendix B.
In addition, PSE&G would perform the appropriate vendor survey and provide an ASME type certification document certifying all other related Section III requirements have been complied with.
