of our investigation into the problem discussed in IE laformation Notice 86-03, " Potential Deficiencies in Environmental Qualifica-l tion of Limitorque Motor Valve Operator Wiring."
The purpose of this letter is to document our schedule for completing actions related to this Information Notice.
I As discussed during the audit, we have not discovered any wire in j
Limitorque operators not having, in our view, adequate supporting environmental qualification documentation.
We will, however, inspect all Limitorque operators within the scope of 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.49, and replace all PVC insulated internal wiring.
In Unit No.
1, this inspection and replacement will take place during the 1986 refueling outage now scheduled to begin on March 5,
1986.
In Unit No.
2, this inspection and replacement will be completed

during the next scheduled cold shutdown lasting ten days or more.
The latest this work will be completed will be during the 1986 refueling outage now scheduled to begin on October 22, 1986.
