Dear Mr. Chilk:
This will confirm a telephone conversation that I had earlier this afternoon with Mr. William L. Clements of your office concerning a petition to intervene and a request for a hearing to Licensco's request for an amendment to License NPF-30, by 11. L. Anthony / FOE.
The NRC staff was not served by Mr. Anthony / FOE with a copy of the petition.
The Staff received a copy today from another source.
As the petition bears a date of February 26, 198G, the Staff's response would be due March 18, 1986, if the Staff had been served.
As it was not served. Mr. Clements granted the Staff's request for additional time to respond, extending the due date until March 28, 1986.
