AFFIDAVIT OF KATilERINE K. PICKERING KATilERINE PICKERING, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:

1. I reside at 2855 Croydon Road, liarriaburg, Pennsylvania, approximately 10 miles from the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, l

Unit 1.

2. I am a member of Three Mile Island Alert and the Three Mile Island Alert Planning Council.
3. I understand that General Public Utilities Nuclear Corpora-tion has requested a license amendment, submitted as Technical Specification Change Request No.153, to permit a revision of TMI-1 s steam generator tube plugging criteria, and I understand that a request for a formal adjudicatory hearing is being filed March 10, 1986, concerning the subject license amendment.
4. I authorize TMIA to intervene on my behalf in this proceeding, and fully support TMIA's ef forts on behalf of myself, TMIA members, and other members of the public living in the l

vicinity of the TMI reactors, to obtain a hearing on and litigate i the safety of this license amendment.

l S. I further authorize TMIA to litigate the issues raised by l this proposed license amendment within the adjudictory hearings aircady underway concerning Technical Specification Change Request No. 148, as the issues are identical.
