Dear Mr. Chilk:

In its order dated December 19, 1985 in the above matter, the Commission sought the comments of interested parties regarding the role of Edward G. Wallace in an alleged material false statement.

The statement in question was contained in a response filed by Metropolitan Edison Company, on December 5, 1979 to a Notice of Violation.

This office represents Mr. Wallace.

I am enclosing a letter from Mr. Wallace reflecting his brief remarks regarding comments submitted to the Commission.

We would respectfully request that the Commission consider those remarks in connection with this proceeding.

By copy of this letter, a copy of Mr. Wallace's letter is being served upon all parties and individuals reflected on the attached service list.
