Dear Mr. Stolz:
Enclosed please find Revision 7 to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 Fire Hazards Analysis Report (FHAR). Revision 7 incorporates several substantial changes as described below and will replace Revision 6 (Serial No. 617) in its entirety.
1.
Additional fire areas were created and several were redefined to support the current Appendix R analysis identified in the Appendix R Compliance Assessment Report (CAR) Revision 1.
2.
Safe Shutdown portions previously discussed in the FHAR have been removed and are now detailed in the CAR.
3.
Completed / Proposed modifications since Revision 6 that affect the FHAR have been incorporated in Revision 7.
We will be available for discussion of the revised FHAR at your convenience.
