s Thank you for your letter dated August. 23, 1985,. in response to our 1985 review of your Agreement State Radiation Control Program. We,have evaluated your response and believe your proposed changes will enable the program to continue to satisfy the " Guidelines for NRC Review of Agreement State Radiation Control Programs," with the exception oflthe State radiation control regulations.
Related to the Status of Regulations, a Category I Indicator, we still cannot offer a finding of compatibility until your revised regulations are ,
completed, approved by the appropriate State bodies'and adopted ~for the Arizona Radiation Control Program. We understand the effort your agency.is putting forth on this issue and we are' prepared to respond as soon as your regulations are adopted.
