Consistent with the requirments of 10 CFR 170.12(f) and 170.21.J. we have determined the professional staff hours and contractual costs for the completed review (s) of the topical report (s) listed on the enclosed sheets. The Office of Resource Management has been notified to bill your Corporation for these completed reviews. When making payment, please make reference to the bill number. In those cases where your Corporation has made payment for some portion of the report review based on the Comnission's periodic billing method, these payments are shown as a credit on the enclosure.
Under the provisions of 10 CFR 170.21.J. fees are detemined based on
$39 per professional staff hour for review time expended between filing of the report and June 23.1984 (the ending period of the first full week after the revised rule became effective on June 20.1984). From June 24. 1984 through completion of the review. the professional staff rate is $62 per hour. Where review cost exceeds $20,000. your Corporation is billed for $20.000 because that is the maximum which can be charged under Part 170 for the review of a topical report or for each revision or amendment to an accepted topical report.
If you have other report reviews that have been completed or are under review, but are not on the enclosed sheets, they will bo billed at a later date when cost data are available. Any questions relating to your bills should be directed to Mrs. Reba H. Diggs on 301/492-7225.
