Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this modification is to provide a month and a half extension to the period of performance of tne contract at no change in the contract estimated cost for the purpose of allowing the Contractor time to finish final trouble reports and the Government sufficient time to review and comment on the improved PSI reflood model and final transitional materials (pursuant to Section C.1.3.2.A.S.(1)&(4)) to be delivered by the Contractor in accordance with Modification No.15 of the contract. This modification also designates a ntw NRC Project Officer. Accordingly, the contract is hereoy modified as follows:

Section F.6 " Duration of Contract" is hereby revised to read as follows:

"The contract shall commence on August 3,199e and will expire on June 15, 1997."

2. The Contractor shall complete the outstanding trouble reports and revised reflood model and submit them to the NRC Project Officer by the dates indicated below:

a. Trouble report 028 by May 15. 1997.

b. Troub'e report 034 by April 15. 1997.

c. Trout.le report 036 by May 15.1997.

d. Trouble report 037 by April 15, 1997.

e. Trouble report 038 by April 15. 1997.

(Completion of trouble reports includes completion of associated quality assurance activities)

f. Revised reflood model and report by May 15, 1997.

The Contractor shall make any minor revisions to these deliverables as requested

'by the Project Officer and resubmit them to the NRC in final form by the new expiration date of the contract i.e. June 15, 1997.

The NRC Project Officer designated in Section G.2 of this contract is hereby changed to Dr. Frank Odar.
