NRC INSPECTION
Dear Mr. Nielson:
t This refers to the inspection conducted on March 27,1997, at Norfolk Southern Railroad Construction Site, Kansas City, Missouri. The purpose of the inspection was to determine whether activities authorized by 10 CFR 150.20 and Specific Agreement State License No.
ORE-0723-1 (Oregon), were conducted safely and in accordance with NRC requirements.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with you.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they
{
relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license that apply to work performed in non-agreement states. The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures, representative
{
records, and an interview with you.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practices," a copy of this letter be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
