For naterial described in 5(b)(1) and limited in 5(b)(?), the cask nust be nounted to the shipping pellet, the personnel shield rust be in place, the

tungsten insert rust be positioned in the cask cavity, and the special fom p
contents must be held within the tungsten insert by a spacer that will assure k
the shielded position for nomal conditions of transport.

For the material described in 5(b)(1) but limited to no more than ?5w per package of themal decay, heat, the shipping callet, personnel shield, and the tungsten l
insert need not be used.

Prior to each shiprent, the package and qaskets will he inspected.
The gaskets p
shall be replaced with new gaskets if any defects are noted. Gaskets rust be replaced not more than 6 nonths prior to any shipment.

Prior to each shipment, the package shall be leak tested to 10' at.cm /sec 3

- 10. Within 6 nonths prior to shionent, package welds will receive a dye penetrant i ns pection. Repairs will be nade as appropriate.
