Steam Generator Tube Surveillance Gentlemen:

Maine Yankee's Technical Specification 4.10.E.1 requires that, following each inservice inspection of steam generator tubes, the number of tubes plugged in each steam generator shall be reported to the Commission within 15 days.

Please be advised that between September 20-24, 1985, the number of tubes that were plugged per steam generator were as follows:

Steam Generator Nunber of Tubes Plugged E-1-1 3 E-1-2 22 E-1-3 11 Additional information related to the inspection of the steam generators will be included in our Inservice Inspection Report which is scheduled to be submitted in January,1986.
