License SNM-778, Docket 70-824 Gentlemen:
I request that the referenced license be renewed. The enclosed document entitled " Demonstration and Conditions for License SNM-778," dated October,1985 provides the information requested in Regulatory Guide 3.52, proposed revision No.1 dated July,1985. Section 9.2 of the above Regulatory Guide provides for the submission of a copy of the latest corporate annual report. Ten copies of the Annual Report, McDermott International, March 31, 1985 are enclosed as separate documents.
I have also enclosed, as a part of the application, fifteen copies of the document entitled "Lynchburg Research Center Environmental Report," dated October, 1985. The environmental report may not be necessary because the operations described for the Lynchburg Research Center appears to be covered by a categorical exclusion, specifically 10 CFR 51 Part 51.22 (c)(14)(v).
In any event, the environnental report is submitted for your use11f required.
A check in the amount of $150.00 is attached to cover the application
