Dear Ms. Strelczyk,
Attached is a copy of a violation notice received by Paper Manufacturers Company citing non-compliance to several areas of 10 CFR 31.5.
Confirming our phone conversation on October 17, it is my understanding that since we have shipped the test unit in question, Microderm Backscatter Model MD-5, serial number 50-68, to you for calibration and leakage testing, its return to us will be considered as an original transfer and Paper Manufacturers will be covered under UPA Technology's license as long as we comply with the balance of the NRC general license requirements.
Since written response to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is required, we would appreciate a prompt reply to this letter.
