Wagner (NRC) and Mr.

Mermelstein of Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G), concerning PSE&G providing docamentation supportive of statements presented in our Power Ascension Test Program submittal of September 20, 1985, specifically test number 14A " Selected Process Temperature Substitute with Technical Specification Sur-veillance" PSE&G hereby submits the following for your review:

NEDO-24562, November 1977, " Brunswick Unit 1 Startup Test Results Final Summary Report" 2.
NEDO-24734, October 1979, " Final Summary Report Edwin I.
Hatch Unit 2 Startup Test Results" The subject NEDO reports document the results of testing at Brunswick Unit 1 and Hatch Unit 2 BWR's and demonstrates that the minimum pump speed limits currently established are sufficiently above the point where adequate mixing would not occur.
