Cooper Nuclear Station NRC Docket No. 50-298, DPR-46 Gentlemen:
In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.71(c), the Nebraska Public Power District hereby submits the fifteenth revision of the Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR) for Cooper Nuclear Station. This revision reflects changes made since the last submittal of the USAR in July 1996. This update is being submitted in advance of our normal update schedule in order to address recent USAR issues and to provide updated information to the NRC. Future submittals will be in accordance with the schedular requirements of 10 CFR 50.71(e)(4).
Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.4, we are enclosing one signed origina and ten copes for your use, and transmitting copies to the NRC Regional Office and the NRC Resident Inspectuc for Cooper Nuclear Station.
The current revision of the Cooper Nuclear Station Quality Assurance Program, Revision 12 was transmitted to you on July 1,1996. That program document is referenced in Appendix D to the USAR and was submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(a).
Also enclosed is a List of Effective Pages for this revision of the USAR in accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(c)(1).
