LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST - REVISION #13 On November 8, 1985, General Electric Company Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing Department submitted revisions to the GE-NFMD
" Radiological Contingency & Emergency Plan".
These changes did not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan and, therefore, did not require NRC approval prior to implementation.
In order to accommodate the 11/8/8s submittal, attached are applicable revisions to Part I of the GE-NFMD application referenced in License Condition 9 of NRC License SNM-1097 issued on June 29, 1984.
Applicable, updated index pages for Part I are also attached.
As this submittal fulfills a reporting commitment and is not a license amendment request, per se, no license fee is deemed i
necessary.

EMERGENCY PLAN General Electric Company Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing Department shall maintain a capability for handling emergencies in accordance with the Radiological Contingency & Emergency Plan, submitted to the NRC on August 27, 1981, supplemented on January 14, 1982, approved by the NRC on March 29, 1982, and as revised on April 4,

1984, February 25, 1985 and November 8,g1985) -in accordance with regulatory provisions.
GE will make no changhs to the Plan which would decrease its effectiveness without priof approval of the Commission.
A record

of authorized changes will be maintained for a period of two years.

Changes, which do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan, will
~
be reported within six months of the change t'o the Chief, Uranium Fuel Licensing Branch, Division of Fuel Cycle & Material Safety, Washington, D.
C., 20555, with'a copy to the Administrator, NRC Region II, 101 Marietta Street, Suite 2900, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
