Dear Mr. McCoy:
i This letter confirms the telephone conversation between you and myself on April 1. 1997 concerning a meeting requested by you which is scheduled for April 18.1997, from 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss an apparent violation regarding the transportation of a radioactive 1
package with surface dose rates exceeding regulatory limits.

The location of the conference will be at the NRC Region II office.
