Enclosed is a letter from Exxon Nuclear Company, Inc., dated September 20, 1985, requesting an amendment to export license XSNM02138 to increase the quantity of material authorized for export to the Kuosheng No. 2 and Chin Shan No.1 Nuclear Power Reactors.
Before we can act on this request, a letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated.
